Kate’s grandmother and parents organised a big birthday party for her. The party attracted about a hundred children from Kate’s school. The food, the fun and entertainment that were provided were very enjoyable.
The children were treated to some good food such as plain rice and beef stew, jollof rice, fried rice and some fried ripe plantain with meaty beans stew.
In addition to the foods, the children had plenty of soft drinks to take too, not to mention the pastries, the ice creams, the toffees and the chocolates they enjoyed. Kate’s friends were also advised on cleanliness in general by Kate’s father and grandmother. In short, what the children had tat the party was worth it.
